Should I do it? Do I take that plane ride? Life constantly presents us with options, big and small. Sometimes, the decision is quick and easy - like ordering hot vs cold coffee. Sometimes, it's extremely difficult. Like where to live upon retiring! But, then, there are the in-between options that can occupy a lot of our thinking time before we make a decision. They often involve some risk, some possible reward, and several unknowns. For example, do I… 🔷 get more formal education? 🔷 change jobs, my diet, my bank? 🔷 travel to a place I know or somewhere new? Recently, while traveling with my husband, we had the option of taking a ride on a seaplane over the broad sandy beaches, beautiful islands and rocky mountain peaks off the quaint town of Tofino on Vancouver Island. Having heard of numerous inexplicable disasters on sightseeing planes and helicopters, the idea was a little scary. Do we take the risk or play it safe? Taking off and landing on water is not the same as doing it in a jet. We decided to take the risk and are glad we did. If you're thinking through options, weighing the pros and cons, making lists, thinking, thinking, thinking and now wasting a lot of time, maybe it's time to talk with a Professional Certified Coach.
